The Big Sunday - Newham previews the Olympics

The London Borough of Newham are holding their biggest ever free community event on Sunday 5th February 2006 and they want you, your family and friends to come along.

The Big Sunday will take place at the ExCeL exhibition centre in Newham's Royal Docks. The event is being organised by Newham Civic Partnership.

It's going to be a fantastic day, with something for everyone. There will be celebrity acts, interactive exhibitions, displays and lots of fun and games. Admission will be completely free and we'll be running a complimentary shuttle bus service to get you there.

The purpose of the day is for you to tell us what the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games will do for you and what you can give in return. It's also to encourage you to take part in the many community schemes and activities in Newham including those linked with education, health and jobs. Click here for more info and to register.
